The Story of Our Mascot – PVA Pythons

Like many aspects of PVA, our mascot was created and chosen by PVA students. Our new school needed a mascot to unite our students and give them something to hang on their walls. A mascot was a clear choice to build school pride, and because we value our students’ opinions we worked together to brainstorm ideas. We posted all the options here where all the students rushed to vote.
It was narrowed down to the PVA Wizards or the PVA Pythons. We designed both mascots and they were once again put to vote right here on the blog. We are excited to now call ourselves the PVA Pythons – go Pythons!
