Student Support Liaison
My role as student advisor is to provide support to students currently enrolled at PVA by helping them understand and navigate the virtual classroom, monitor their progress, and help them to pace themselves appropriately after transitioning from Orientation. As well as support parents and guardians through the process by answering any school related questions they may have.
I began working as an Advisor at PVA in 2020. I really enjoy helping my students navigate the virtual classroom and achieve their goals. Prior to working at the CCIU, I held an Assistant Editor position at Philadelphia Magazine and completed a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Madrid, Spain. In Madrid, I worked in a bilingual high school and carried out a side project where I taught dance and movement classes as an alternative and supplementary way for young children to learn English.
9th Grade Student Advisor
I am a Student Advisor for PVA. I have worked for the CCIU in various capacities for the past 5 years. I value my own education and enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals. My best advice to students is to never stop asking questions and to remember that everyone in education is here to help! One of my most interesting experiences in life was attending an autopsy-it is something that I will never forget!
