PVA Weekly Update – Feb. 17, 2014

Unlike most city schools, PVA wrapped up a progressive, uninterrupted week on Valentine’s Day with its’ Super Bowl Contest.

As an online virtual academy, PVA was granted the privilege of progress, even with a record snowfall on the ground.  Students continued to climb the class ranks, the SRP had yet another great week, and the virtual office remained open.

The Super Bowl Contest results were announced in the Virtual Office on Friday and the winner was the Chiefs!  They were coached by PVA’s own, Ms. Drayton and among the Chiefs was Ameena Isaac, a Philadelphia Virtual Academy student.  Congratulations Ameena and Ms. Drayton!

Looking ahead, this week we will have a PAFA reach out on Thursday at 11am at 440 N. Broad in room 1182.  Hope you all can make it!
