Graduation

PVA’s Graduation Ceremony was held  on June 12th at the Temple Performing Arts Center  where  we were honored to have Dr. Bill Cosby delivery the commencement speech.

He spoke to the students about  his own trials as a youth growing up in Germantown and stressed the need to always have goals and to be continually

“Moving Forward” in life.

Cosby warned that some people in your life might try to hold you back, but you gotta leave them where they’re sitting, continue to move forward and you can always come back to visit.

After his speech, Cosby shook every graduates hand and congratulated them on their hard work. Philadelphia Virtual Academy would like to thank Dr. Cosby for his wise words and wish our graduates luck in their future endeavors.
