PVA Weekly Update — April 14th
Breaking News: The weather, it’s gorgeous! Get outside this week, PVA. Now onto the real news.
Sign ups for “PVA Goes to the Opera” are due tomorrow. We’ll be seeing a special rendition of Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Academy of Music as part of the Kimmel Center.
PSSA’s are unfortunately still in the news for some 8th graders who began their Writing section today. Please email pvacontact@philasd.org if you don’t know your testing date.
For some, PSSA’s have concluded. Thank you all 6th and 7th graders who gave it their all, wrapping up their PSSA testing on Friday.
Spring Break is here! As mentioned earlier, it’s gorgeous outside so get out there and enjoy it. However, if you would like to catch up on work or get ahead the 440 Drop-In Learning Center is still open Monday – Thursday from 8am to 1pm.
As you might’ve seen in our alert email, Rivera Drop-In Learning Center is closed for Spring Break. If you didn’t receive the email, double check and if not than email pvacontact@philasd.org to get added onto the email list.
Thanks and have a great week everyone!
