Weekly Update — April 22nd

As another nice week of weather rolls in, PVA rolls forward.

Tomorrow is our trip to the Academy of Music at the Kimmel Center as “PVA Goes to the Opera.”  We’ll be seeing a dress rehearsal of Mozart’s Don Giovanni.  Students are welcome to simply meet at the Kimmel Center prior to the start time of 2pm, but if they would like to travel with administrators and other students meet at 440 N. Broad St. prior to 1:45pm, which is when we will be leaving.

On Wednesday, there’s a Senior Meeting in the VO at 10am.  All seniors must attend.

Also on Wednesday, Rivera Drop-In Learning Center is closed!  Our other Drop-In-Learning Center at 440 N. Broad St. is still open during regular operation hours.

PSSA’s have officially commenced for Philadelphia Virtual Academy. Congratulations everyone and thank you for your diligent work!  If anyone has yet to take their test email pvacontact@philasd.org.

This Thursday, a math tutoring session will be held at 1pm in the 440 N. Broad St. Drop-In-Learning Center.  In fact, every week we meet at 1pm on Thursday for math tutoring.  Stop by to brush up on your skills.
